Niloufar Deilami <\/strong>has been added to the Lawrence Park Cardiology team. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Niloufar is a Registered Dietitian based in Toronto. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto (BSc Nutritional Sciences and Psychology) and Ryerson University (BASc Food and Nutrition). Niloufar also holds a Masters of Public Health in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Toronto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Niloufar has worked as a clinical dietitian at the Outpatient Dietitian Clinic at Toronto Western Hospital and the Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation Program at the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute. She has clinical expertise in the nutritional management of cardiovascular disease and diabetes, as well as a range of other conditions including gastrointestinal disorders, COPD, osteoporosis and gout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Niloufar works with patients and families in both one on one and group settings. She has training in plain language communication and has developed several education sessions, workshops, and patient education materials for heart disease, diabetes and general healthy eating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Niloufar is committed to providing evidence-based, client-centered, and culturally sensitive care nutrition care. Her ultimate goal is to support clients in the prevention and management of chronic disease.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
